ABOUT MIDLIFORA

MIDLIFORA is a space where one person shares what they’re researching, testing, and learning — about nutrition, supplements, movement, and the real-life choices that shape how we age.

Who I Am

I’m Vera Kim, the person behind MIDLIFORA. I’m not a doctor or health expert. I’m a person in midlife who reads the research, asks questions, explores what works in everyday life, and writes honestly about what I find.

I don’t have a protocol to sell you. Just the questions I’m asking, and what I’m learning along the way.

Why I Created MIDLIFORA

I created MIDLIFORA to make sense of the research I come across while navigating midlife — and to share what I learn along the way.

There is no shortage of advice about supplements, exercise, nutrition, and aging. What I want to understand is what the evidence actually supports, where the evidence is uncertain, and what may simply be marketing.

What This Blog Covers

A Note on Evidence

I use research and credible sources to understand what the evidence actually shows. When evidence is limited or uncertain, I try to say so clearly. Every post on MIDLIFORA separates what the research says from what I think, observe, or have personally tried — so you can decide what makes sense for you.
